The extension of a partnership spanning over 20 years, paves the way for expanded product integration and the future of intelligent document processing automation under Ubunye’s vision

Gibraltar, 10 June 2025 – Ubunye Holdings, a forward-thinking provider of intelligent automation and digital transformation solutions, is proud to announce the signing of a development agreement with Kyocera Document Solutions Inc on XX June 2025. The collaboration focuses on the development of a KCIM connector (Kyocera Cloud Information Manager), enabling seamless integration between Kyocera’s Digital Cloud Platform and Ubunye’s expanding portfolio of on-prem and cloud-based document processing products—starting with Efflux Cloud Capture and ScannerVision X.

This agreement marks a pivotal milestone in Ubunye’s plan to unify intelligent automation across the enterprise ecosystem. The new KCIM connector will enable organizations using Kyocera’s multifunction printers (MFPs) to integrate effortlessly with Efflux Cloud Capture and ScannerVision X, delivering secure, real-time document processing from capture to on-prem and cloud—without disrupting existing workflows.

“We’re excited to strengthen our strategic relationship with Kyocera,” said Rene Brunt, CEO of Ubunye Holdings and Efflux Solutions. “This development is not just about one connector—it’s about building a scalable integration framework that unlocks long-term product synergy and future innovation across our entire platform.”

Efflux Cloud Capture and ScannerVision X, Ubunye’s upcoming flagship solution, trained using advanced machine learning will enhance scanned documents with high accuracy, enabling seamless data extraction, classification, and downstream automation. The upcoming KCIM connector is designed to extend these capabilities natively within Kyocera’s device and software ecosystem—bringing together physical document inputs and intelligent cloud workflows.

The connector will also serve as a foundation for future integrations across other Ubunye and Kyocera platforms, including solutions for compliance automation, data analytics, and workflow orchestration. By standardizing how external ecosystems connect to Ubunye’s on-prem and cloud services, the KCIM connector becomes a long-term enabler of scale and interoperability.

“This collaboration reflects our long-term product vision,” said Brian Young, Head of Global Business Development for Ubunye Holdings and Efflux Solutions. “It allows us to streamline enterprise adoption by reducing complexity at the integration level—so customers can benefit faster, with fewer barriers.”

The KCIM connector is currently in development, with select partner testing expected in soon. Upon release, it will feature secure user authentication, automated routing, and complete job traceability—ensuring high visibility and control from the device interface to the cloud platform.

This collaboration positions Ubunye at the forefront of enterprise automation—creating a technology backbone that supports current needs and fuels future innovation. It also underscores Ubunye’s commitment to building a connected, intelligent ecosystem that serves customers globally.
